Dictionary of Nomenclature of Celestial Objects

in the UGC addenda receive sequential numbers above 12921 (original maximum UGC designation)
Numbers above 100000:
Additional entries in UGC. Assignment made on basis of hours of R.A. when number assignment is made (i.e. number is not changed if position update moves object to different R.A. hour).
100001-110000: 0-1h north, 110001-120000: 1-2h north, etc.
Southern Hemisphere:
Numbers 20001 to 36562:
Assignment sequentially performed on original digital catalog of entries in ESO-Uppsala catalog.
Unfortunately, digital version had some errors, so this assignment is not perfect.
Numbers above 400000 :
Additional assignment performed similarly to north, based on assignment per hour of R.A., 400001-409999: 0-1h south, 410001-420000: 1-2h south
