Abstract (from CDS):

Observed period changes in SX Phe and Population I high amplitude δ Sct stars have been collected and compared with those expected from different stellar evolutionary tracks inside the Lower Instability Strip including modern evolution models using the new opacities by Rogers & Iglesias (1992ApJS...79..507R) and Kurucz (1991, in Stellar Atmospheres: Beyond Classical Models, NATOi ASI Series C, Vol. 341).
