Abstract (from CDS):

Observations of the centimeter radio emission of T Tau in 2003 June are consistent with the radio source T Tau N being coincident with the optical star (T Tau A) and its radio emission due predominately to a stellar wind. The absolute position of radio source T Tau N shows acceleration in declination, which confirms it is gravitationally bound to T Tau B. The emission from the radio source T Tau S is associated with but may not be coincident with the pre-main-sequence M star (T Tau Bb) in the T Tau B binary. An orbital fit to the IR and radio data, adopting a distance of 140 pc, allows an estimate of the masses of 2.1 and 0.44 Mfor the T Tau B binary system. The radio emission of T Tau S may be due to magnetic reconnections in the interbinary medium.
