Very Large Array images at 8.4 GHz of 40 Fanaroff-Riley II 3CR radio sources with 0.1 < z < 2.0.

Abstract (from CDS):

We present high-sensitivity images of the hot spots (HSs) of 21 radio galaxies (RGs) and 19 quasars (QSRs) as part of a program to study the location and morphology of HSs in a large sample of Fanaroff-Riley class II using the Very Large Array at 8.4 GHz. Our preliminary results show that the number of edged (and recessed) HSs is more for the RGs than for the QSRs.
