Symbiotic star LL Cassiopeiae.

Abstract (from CDS):

Study of the spectral and photometric properties of the symbiotic star LL Cas. Spectroscopy and photometry. Spectral and photometric observations of LL Cas were performed in 1986-2006. LL Cas displays a late-type spectrum with TiO absorbtion bands and emission lines of HeII, [OIII], HeI and HI. Significant fluctuations of relative intensities of [OIII], 5007Å and HeII, 4686Å are revealed. They reflect the changes of the field of radiation of the ionizing source. Wavelike variations of the star's light with amplitudes of about 2-3.5mag are found in the B, V and R bands. They can be ascribed to the pulsations of the cool giant.
