The Hubble diagram for X-ray selected BL Lacertae objects.

Abstract (from CDS):
We show that X-ray selected BL Lacertae objects obey the Hubble relation and have a roughly constant spectrum from object to object, from X-rays to radio frequencies. Radio-selected BL Lac objects do not obey the Hubble relation and we confirm that their fluxes are strongly enhanced by the relativistic Doppler beaming effect.
