Geometrical analysis of average pulsar profiles using multi-component Gaussian fits at several frequencies. II. Individual results.

KRAMER M.

Abstract (from CDS):

This paper presents the results of fitting Gaussian components to average pulsar profiles. The used method described in Kramer et al. (1994, Paper I) was applied to about 200 profiles of 18 pulsars at three different frequencies, i.e. at 1.4GHz, 4.75GHz and 10.55GHz, yielding the number, location, width and flux of individual components presented here. For all components, which could be identified over the entire observed frequency range, spectral indices of the individual components were also determined. We also introduce a classification scheme for the individual components in average pulsar profiles.
