Abstract (from CDS):

Grzegorz Duszanowicz, Akersberga, Sweden, reports his discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.5) on an unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag 18.5) taken on Sept. 30.13 UT with a 0.32-m f/3.1 reflector (+ Starlight Xpress MX716 CCD camera). The new object is located at R.A. = 8:43:21.41, Decl. = +45:44:18.0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1".9 west and 9".6 north of the center of UGC 4543 (= PGC 24493). Nothing is visible at this position on a Digitized Sky Survey image (limiting red mag 20-21). Additional magnitudes for the variable: 2009 Nov. 26.06, [18.5; 2010 Oct. 4.97, 17.3; 5.00, 17.3.
