SIMBAD references

L. Tomasella, S. Benetti, E. Cappellaro, A. Pastorello, and M. Turatto, Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica, report that a spectrogram of PSN J16154486+3157477 = 2012fj, obtained on Oct. 22.73 UT with the Asiago 1.82-m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC; range 350-820 nm; resolution 1.3 nm), suggests that this is a type-II supernova. Together with Balmer lines showing P-Cyg profiles, Fe II lines and the Na I doblet feature are detected. Adopting for the host galaxy (NGC 6103) the redshift z = 0.031422 (Falco et al. 1999, PASP 111, 438; via NED), the best fit with the GELATO tool (Harutyuyan et al. 2008, A.Ap. 488, 383) is obtained with the type-IIP supernova 1995ad at 3-4 weeks after explosion.
