Christian Buil, Castanet, France, reports that he obtained spectroscopy of PSN J03333599-3607377 = SN 2012fr on Oct. 20.01 UT with a LISA spectrograph (spectral resolution 0.8 nm) and a 0.235-m telescope, showing the variable to have features of a typical-Ia supernova; his spectrum is posted at website URL http://www.astrosurf.com/buil/supernovae/2012/index.htm.
